Are you in an uncomfortable place right now—a situation that you know is either by God’s leading or allowing?
I believe Father wants to encourage you today. He is saying:
“This is the very place in which you will become acquainted with My glory.”
You are in a place of Divine appointment.
The Weakness Zone is the Glory Zone
Are you contemplating a sizeable task ahead of you, and being challenged by a lack of resources? Perhaps you are experiencing physical or emotional weakness. The situation you are facing requires more from you than you feel capable of giving.
Your place of weakness is the zone of God’s glory.
‘But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.’ (2 Cor 12:9)
God did not make a mistake when He chose you and empowered you with His Presence. Your weakness is not a disadvantage.
‘But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.’ (2 Cor 4:7)
‘All-surpassing power.’ The Greek word for ‘all-surpassing’, huperbole, means ‘throwing beyond.’ [1] It has also been translated, ‘excellent beyond measure’.
Get ready to experience the power of God in an unprecedented way. He says, ‘I have chosen you and am intimately acquainted with you. You are not my ‘back-up plan’. I have positioned you for My purpose.’
The Obedience Zone is the Glory Zone
Has obedience to God’s plan for your life taken you outside of your comfort zone? Does it seem that He asking something difficult of you?
The world will tell you that obedience is a negative thing—that being ruled by the will of another is something to be avoided at all costs. Do not pay heed to that image of reluctant submission.
Obedience to Father’s will is not like that. It is an invitation to join Him, to be empowered by His Spirit, to participate with Him in something that is on His heart.
You do not leave God’s Presence to go and obey. You are making the choice to go where His Presence is going. To obey is simply to say ‘yes’ to being with your Father in what He is doing.
Obedience is not drudgery, duty or hardship. To obey is to live in the ‘now’ moment with Him, experiencing your Father’s pleasure in you and His favor upon your life.
‘This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are.’ (Romans 8:15-16a MSG)
Hear the Spirit of God saying, “Rise up, My love and come away with Me. Let us do this thing together. How I am longing to be with you! How I desire for you to fellowship with Me.
I have so much that I want to give to you—so much of Myself to reveal to you.
Come away with Me, and you will know My all-surpassing power. Together, we will make a difference. With me, you will discover that you are capable of all I am asking of you.”
The Transition Zone is the Glory Zone
It is the nature of transition to feel uncomfortable. In that place of between, we no longer feel satisfied where we are.
Perhaps you can relate to that today, as you are waiting for the new thing God has for you to open up.
Take heart, and recall Israel’s wilderness journey between Egypt and the Promised Land. During that time of transition, journeying through a harsh landscape, God’s Manifest Presence accompanied them. He was present in a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night.
There in the wilderness, Israel had an experience of God that was unique to that generation. The entire nation was acquainted with His glorious Presence.
Father says, “Right here, in this seeming delay, I am with you. I am guarding you and guiding you. The moment has come for you to perceive Me.”
“Look into My Word—see Me afresh and believe. Be transformed as you look into My Face and see the radiance of My love for you.”
‘And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.’ (2 Cor 3:18)

Hi Helen, yes I too love this Prophetic Teaching on the Glory Zone it’s so very encouraging, like Fresh OIL for me. I felt a gentle HOLY SPIRIT whisper to go deeper in intimacy with the LORD, from Glory to Ever-Increasing Glory, from Strength to Greater Strength, from Victory to Victory in JESUS my LORD. I wrote this poem this evening as I was reflecting on this wonderful inspiring Teaching.
The Pleasure of GOD Washes all Over me
Anointing my Eyes to SEE
The Glorious Presence of GOD Surrounds me
The Weight of HIS Glory is in the AIR
The Sweet HOLY Presence of CHRIST is Everywhere
The Brilliance of HIS Glory is Upon me
The Reflection of CHRIST JESUS, I can See
Washed in the Fresh OIL of HIS HOLY Presence Divine
We are the AROMA of CHRIST you See
Such a Wonderful, Glorious, Beautiful Mystery
Yes, I Abide in CHRIST, and CHRIST Abides in me
HOLY Heavenly Treasure, in this earthen vessel you See
Hear the SPIRIT of GOD calling me
Into a DEEPER Place of Intimacy
Deeper and Deeper, I will GO
Higher and Higher, I will Know
To KNOW the Heart of GOD, and to SEEK HIS Face
To CARRY the Glorious HOLY PRESENCE of GOD within me
HOLY Heavenly TREASURE, in this earthen vessel is such a Mystery
GOD has made me a Carrier of HIS GLORY
How can I ever measure all the Water in the Ocean
How can I ever count all the grains of Sand on the Seashore
How can I ever count all the Stars in the Heavens
How can I ever comprehend, the Infinite WISDOM of GOD that has NO END
There is NO LIMIT to what GOD CAN DO
There is NO LIMIT as HE POURS OUT HIS Precious HOLY SPIRIT Upon You
Poem by Irene Kyriacou
That’s awesome, Irene. I love, love it!!! 🙂
Dear Helen,
Your article is just great! I have just found this new article and I love it!
This part about obedience is no drudgery… is exactly what I needed.
Some people can make your life really hard by telling you in a certain tone
that being obedient is the only thing that pleases God. This holds true but the tone
in which they say this makes you automativally feel reluctant right away and forget about
how much Jesus loves us and that he does not want to give us nasty tasks. Now I have the right insight to what obedience really is and I feel protected against these people, because the only want to make you feel to weak to do anything reasonable together with Jesus and start to live a fruitful and pleasant life.
I am really grateful for this article ! It gives me new hope in many ways.
Best Wishes
Conny
Hi Conny, your observation about obedience is so well put. How wonderful is the grace of God – and we get to live in it!
Thank you, you have blessed my day!

Good morning Helen. I’m so glad I find your blog and is by God’s grace. I am in a discomfort place at the moment and your article is so helpful.
I’m very sensitive and emotional person and I love to help people a lot is either I give food, clothes or advice.
I always have that desire to help others and I can’t take it when a preacher get out of the Word. I’m hurt when a preacher teaches a wrong doctrine to me.
