‘No More Postponement!’
Have you been waiting on a change of season, in relation to the call of God? Perhaps you have anticipated a future time in which the power of the Holy Spirit will operate through you, to bring healing, signs and miracles.
I believe the Lord is saying, ‘It’s time to revisit that call, and that word. There are many who are waiting for a change of season that has already taken place!’
It’s time to stop waiting and start moving. It’s time to act on the revelation you have been given.’
Vision of an Upside-Down Chair
A few months ago, I was attending a daytime pastors’ session at Planetshakers Conference here in Melbourne, Australia.
As we began to worship, I closed my eyes and in the Spirit, suddenly saw a single chair! It was upside down, glowing, and suspended in the air, within arm’s reach.
I knew the chair represented spiritual authority.
The fluorescent glow that surrounded it indicated that the chair was supernatural. It was alight with the power of God. As I was looking at this unusual chair I asked, ‘Father what do you want me to do? Shall I turn it over and sit on it?’
I felt Him say emphatically, ‘No, wait, I want to show you more.’
I continued to worship, with the question still in my mind: ‘Why is this chair—a chair that is clearly meant to be sat in, not only empty, but also upside down?’
Suddenly, I saw a vision of a long banquet table, in a room that looked like a restaurant or wedding reception area.
Chairs were placed, upside down, on top of the table. And I realized, ‘This is how staff place chairs in a cafe or restaurant when they are finished serving for the day! The restaurant is closed and they have removed the chairs in order to clean the floors!’
‘My Kingdom is Open all Hours!’
That’s when I sensed the Father saying:
‘My people are saying that it is ‘out of hours’ for my greater works.
There are gifts, empowerment and miracles that you’ve had on your heart, that have not yet come to pass; gifts of healing you have been waiting for.
There are signs and wonders that operated for a time and you knew they were a sign of things to come. And so you drifted into a someday, sometime, mind-set. Perhaps others told you that the hour to activate your spiritual authority had not yet come.
But I want you to know that My Kingdom is open for business. It is open all hours. It is open right now. And many of you have been waiting for a change of season. But the change of season you are waiting on, has already taken place!
It is time to act on the revelation you have been given.
‘Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom’ (Luke 12:32, NIV)
An Urgent Message from the Heart of the Father
As I meditated further on the vision, I knew He was showing me a banquet hall, and banqueting table for a reason.
Jesus spoke a parable about the wedding banquet in Luke 14, concerning God’s offer of salvation. One of the themes of the parable is the urgency of the Gospel invitation:
- ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.’ (Luke 14:21b, NIV)
- ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.’ (Luke 14:23, NIV)
Why was the Holy Spirit showing me a banquet table? The banquet table represented urgency of the hour. Souls are at stake. It is time for the Kingdom to be manifested with power.
A Guided Wrong Turn
That evening, my husband Malcolm and I were returning to our accommodation after Planetshakers Conference. It was pouring with rain, we didn’t have an umbrella, and we took a wrong turn.
Our misdirection happened to take us past a café, that was closed for the night. As we walked past, I noticed something in the window. Chairs, placed upside down on a table.
Prayer
Lord, I ask that you reveal to me any area in which I’ve been waiting, but it is now your due season to act on Your Word. I say, ‘no more postponement’! Father, I repent of believing that the day of Your power has not yet come. I recognize where I’ve drifted into a perspective of waiting.
I break off all disappointments, I lay aside all unfulfilled longings and I step out of the waiting room at Your Word.
Your Kingdom is open now! Your Name is powerful now! Your healing and power is being released now!
I choose to step into the authority you have given to me. I choose to say, ‘Yes!’ to You. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in my life. May many be drawn to salvation and may the River of Your Presence flow and touch the lives of many others around me, in Jesus’ Name, amen.

My husband died four years ago, and I have mov ed into a smaller home in Blackwood. ( previously I lived in Hawthorndene ).
I am in a street full of widows. I am praying continuously for my neighbours, and have been waiting for the right time to talk to them, waiting for The Holy SPirit’s urging. I know God can do anything, I have been cautious though.

I pray for my manifestation of God work to happen but it delay, I don’t want to prophecy and is not happen, Y is prophesy not happened as the pronounced one month it didn’t come to pass? ,And I need a strong eyes and ears

Dear Helen
Thank you for this post so encouraging and fits in with what is going on in my life at this season. I have been praying and asking the Lord to lead me so I do what I am called to do. I have been asking the Lord to use me to lead people to Him.
As I was praying about my life the Holy Spirit gave me a picture of a plant in a pot on a window sill. The plant did not look very lush. Then all of a sudden a lot of Water like a flood fell on the plant and when I looked at it was covered in droplets of sparkling water. I think that the plant in the pot represents my life (contained)and the water is the Holy Spirit. I am not quite sure what to do with this picture whether to share it at church.Or if there are other meanings?
Hello Jean, I love that picture, the droplets are a sparkling display upon the plant – as it is said, the Spirit is within us for our sake, and upon us for the sake of others. His manifestation is visible. Reminds me of this…
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.(Is 61:3b)

Isaiah 61 really spoke to me,especially verses 2 &3 about comforting those who mourn in Zion and oaks of righteousness. Verse 4 also came alive about building ruins ,repairing cities and repairing the devastation of generations. Verse 11 was a bit like my picture – as the earth brings forth sprouts … so the Lord will cause righteousness and praise to sprout before the Nations.
I am going to pray this over my life. Please pray this for me as well.
