This is the first truth you need to know.

It is the hook upon which all the Heavenly wisdom and revelation you need can be laid upon.

If you have been praying and seeking God for answers; if you have been grieved by the status quo, or by the condition of others. If you want guidance and wisdom:

Above all and before all, grasp this one truth. This is how Heaven knows you. This is how the Father sees you…

How God Sees You

In the book of Daniel, the prophet is crying out to God for a breakthrough. His home city of Jerusalem and the state of his nation weigh heavily on his heart.

Daniel has already experienced powerful prophetic visions and encounters. But still, the insight and answers he wants are beyond him.

Suddenly, the angel Gabriel appears.

He is sent by God in answer to Daniel’s prayers. And he has one thing to say to Daniel before anything else.

It is a truth God wants the prophet to understand.

  • And it is a designation the angel uses, not once, but three times. [1]

“Man greatly beloved”.

You are Valued

“O Daniel…At the beginning of your supplications the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved (Dan 9:23a, NKJV)

The Hebrew word translated ‘greatly beloved’, chemdah (Strongs H 2532) means that which is desirable, pleasant and precious. It is used of precious jewels.

As you seek God for wisdom and for answers to prayer, stand before Him as one who knows your worth to God.

You are desired.
You are known.

You are His son, His daughter, greatly loved.

Beloved.

This Truth Heals Your Heart

Perhaps you have been struggling in some area.

Let this word breathe healing into your heart today. For it holds true, regardless of what you’ve done, or what has been done to you.

In your worst condition, God placed this value upon you: You are worth the sacrifice of His Son Jesus.

“For God so loved”  [2]

This is how you are known in Heaven:

Beloved.

This Word Gives You Strength

A hook may be hidden from view, but its strength will determine its capacity to bear weight.

And this truth is the hook upon which all the Heavenly wisdom and revelation you need can be laid upon.

“…he said, “O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!” (Dan 10:18, NKJV)

It is the third time Gabriel calls Daniel “man greatly beloved.” His words and touch impart strength. They dispel fear.

Do you need strength to rise?
Do you need capacity to bear the weight of all God has called you to do?

Beloved.

A Truth That is a Heavenly ‘Hook’

A hook is powerful.

It can be used to capture, to secure, to join or to hang an object upon. Great paintings—masterpieces—can be displayed using hooks.

Receive this one word before all.

This is the “hook”—the truth that will enable you to fully receive all your Father has for you.

As it did for Daniel, this message heralds the answer to your prayers.

And he said to me, “O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” (Dan 10:10b-11, NKJV)

Today you are seeking God for wisdom, interceding, looking for answers.
You want to see His power released, His Spirit move.

This is who you are.

Beloved.

Post Dedication

Today’s message is, I believe, a word from the heart of the Father to all who read it.

But I would particularly like to dedicate this post to my husband Malcolm (pictured here), who has his 60th birthday today.

Beloved to the Father, and to me, and to many. You are His masterpiece.

  1. Yes, I hook to his word and this prophecy, as I beginning to understand his thought over me, his word this moment brings healing to my past and the present future,
God grace to inspire more to your soul.
Happy birthday to our Dady, may his growth be gracefully adore with sweet alabaster box of spikenard ointment from the throne of grace and mercy. Amen

  2. This passage came into my spirit Monday morning. I have been hit in the battlefield of faith, so now there’s a struggle. The Holy Spirit has been using you to confirm what He has been telling me for approximately 3 years. When you wrote about the building materials changing, He had me building with wood and stone until that very week I dreamt I was inspecting a Church made with metal beams.
When you wrote recently about oiling the shield, I was then in a daze because I could not understand why the Holy Spirit would pull me away from my prayer group. It has been a little over 2 weeks now and it has not been good. The prayer group was all I had. Prayer is all I have.
Earlier this month He told me that the Levites had to stand in the Jordan until the whole company crossed over and when I crossed over, it’s as if I saw nothing; like I got a wilderness. I prayed the “…give me now streams.” prayer a few years ago. I don’t understand, I’m lost.

    1. Hi Shana, I’m praying for you right now, may you have the wisdom and clarity you need.
I always encourage (and practice myself) running my prophetic guidance past others, especially my leaders, and this is even more important when we’re using it to make decisions. We all need church fellowship – it’s how God has wired and created us and I pray you are blessed in this way.

      1. Thank you very much. God’s continued blessings and you’re always in my prayers. You’ve been a blessing to me.

  3. I am very thankful for your prophetic words. This year things have been stagnant. I lost my job last year and I’ve experienced a few deaths in my family. It seems the world is falling around me but every time I read your post, I’m encouraged and it gives me hope to keep standing on the promises of God.

    God bless you!

    Melissa

  4. Thank you Jesus. Thank you for using your prophet sis Calder to deliver this message to me, because of a fact sometimes I forgot how much I mean to you. God bless you all. Continue to protect your servant and her family Lord, please. Thank you in Jesus name.

  5. Wow….This is timely. Thank you very much. I really needed this. May God continue using you in Jesus name.

  6. Helen thank you so much you are such a blessing to me! Only yesterday I dreamt about what you wrote! I saw my spiritual father telling me that he is preparing me for the glory of God, after reading your post it was a confirmation of what my father said to me! Thank you Helen I pray God continues to use you to help us hear from him! You are such a blessing to me!!

  7. Thank you so much for sharing. Every time I read that word “beloved”, I felt it in my spirit. I needed that refreshing word.

    1. Hi Amy, that’s so good! I was talking to a friend today and she mentioned how it was the favor of God standing out to her through this word – and that was a great thought, I needed to hear too.
Our Father longs for us to know the measureless nature of His favor towards us. Show us more Lord.
