God is bringing a fresh word of spiritual renewal, no matter what season or stage you relate to right now.
This promise is for you:
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31, NKJV)
“It’s Time to Run”
The Holy Spirit has been reminding me lately of a vision I had some years ago.
I saw two seasons ahead, fall (autumn) and winter.
The fall season was a time to celebrate!
I was picking up piles of colorful leaves and throwing them into the air; having fun and rejoicing.
Then I saw the onset of winter.
In front of me, there was ice and snow, and I heard the Lord say, “It’s time to run!”
Then, I saw myself take off running.
As I was observing this, I knew that winter was not a space of time.
This was not about months on a calendar, but a length of distance.
And by running, I was going to pass through it quicker.
When We Doubt Our Season
Isaiah gives us four pictures which can also describe seasons in our lives.
These are waiting, rising, running, and walking.
And I believe God has fresh encouragement for us in each of these right now.
Wherever you find yourself in this passage, there is grace for your season.
Because many times, we feel we should be somewhere else.
For example, when we’re running, we think we should slow down or stop.
When we are waiting or need rest, we can feel ineffective, or even as though we have failed.
And it’s a constant battle—the enemy is always sending fiery darts of doubt our way!
If you can relate to this, be reassured.
God’s strength, protection, and spiritual renewal are available to you right here, in the season you’re in.
1. Spiritual Renewal in a Season of Running
“They shall run and not grow weary…”
There are times when God gives us strength to run because He has given us a vision.
And passion from the Spirit gives us fuel to move quickly.
At other times, we must run because we have no other option.
We may be carrying a heavy load through a demanding season, with others relying on us.
And if this is where you are right now, God’s strength is available for the running.
Divine Acceleration
Like Elijah, we find that seasons change suddenly and unexpectedly.
It’s like that time when Elijah announced to King Ahab that there was the sound of heavy rain approaching.
And then he ran ahead of the king’s chariot.
The hand of the Lord was upon Elijah to run! (1 Kings 18:41–46)
Through divine acceleration, God can move us through a season faster than our natural capacity.
Divine acceleration can be like a moving walkway at an airport.
You can be walking at your normal pace, but the walkway is carrying you forward more quickly.
2. Experiencing Spiritual Renewal in a Waiting Season
“But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength…”
In a waiting season, the enemy wants us to think that we are losing ground or wasting time.
But in Isaiah, waiting on the Lord is a posture of the heart.
It’s where we turn away from self-reliance and lean upon Him.
Waiting is not a sign of dormancy.
And if you’re waiting, God has not abandoned you.
It is the very place where God has replenishment and spiritual renewal for you.
In 1 Kings 19, we find Elijah utterly spent, running for his life.
But God does not rebuke Elijah for his limitations.
Instead, He feeds him through an angel and lets him sleep.
Elijah gains strength to travel to Mount Sinai to meet with God and receive a fresh commissioning.
“Waiting upon God” is not about hours of time, but about turning our hearts in any moment, even right now.
To worship, surrender and receive.
This is where our strength is exchanged for His.
3. When You Need Spiritual Renewal in a Season of Walking
“They shall walk and not faint.”
If it’s a season for walking, we can be tempted to feel we are not enough.
That we should be moving faster.
But God is present in the walking as He is in the running.
The Father wants you to know His delight is in you.
Someone else is not ahead of you just because they are moving faster.
Perhaps you have needed to slow your pace because God has called you to walk alongside another for a season.
Be assured of this: Your times are in His hands (Psalm 31:15).
And what matters most is that we continue to walk with Him.
“He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the LORD require of you
But to do justly, To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?”
(Micah 6:8, NKJV)
And perhaps no one is cheering you on.
No one is watching.
Sometimes, simply continuing to walk with God is an act of faith.
4. Rising on Eagle’s Wings
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles…”
“You know how I carried you on eagle’s wings and brought you to myself.” (Exodus 19:4b, NLT)
Rising up may speak of a fresh season after recovery.
But sometimes, what is ahead is beyond our natural capacity.
This happened to me recently. But in that moment I realized I wasn’t being carried along by circumstances.
I was being carried by God.
And His wings were underneath me.
If this speaks to where you are right now, know that God’s strength does not run out because yours has.
It may no longer be time to run, but to be carried.
Spiritual Renewal is Available
This is God’s promise: whatever the season requires of us, God Himself is the Source of the strength we need.
“He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.” (Isaiah 40:29, NLT)
And we can rest in this truth:
He is my Source.

Hi Salvatore,
I pray you receive God’s refreshing and that you also experience His wings lifting you and carrying you.
May you be strengthened and hear what is on God’s heart and mind for you at this time, in Jesus’ Name
God bless you where you are
Good morning. God called me from the book of Jeremiah years ago, and I walked in that calling strongly. I still do and always will. But something is wrong; I am tired and have no energy to do anything. I have to make myself do what I must do. My husband passed away last year in March; I have buried two of my sons. I feel like running away, but where would I go? Please send me away to give to your ministry. I have tried to send you an offering before, but the bank rejected it. I think it’s the location.
Thank you
Prophet Mary Robinson
Hello, Prophet Mary,
I’m so sorry to hear of the tragedies you have been through. Your tiredness is understandable, and God’s grace and kindness toward you are abundant. I pray that you will have a tangible sense of God working in the midst of it. His life is at work, and just as the Holy Spirit brooded over the waters in Genesis, His presence is near. He is drawing, calling you forth to life.
Thank you for thinking of giving. The easiest one here is PayPal. https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/EnlivenBlog
I have disappointed the Lord so much by always running ahead of Him so much so that I didnt think God wanted anything to do with me, this I know realized was a lie from the devil. That lie cause me to stop believing, stopped dreaming and all. So here I am back in My waiting season. Pray for me to get wisdom and to learn how to hear from Him that may understand the seasons I am in and What to do in whatever season I am in and to Victorious in all seasons in Jesús Christ name.
Shelly-Ann, you are so valuable that the enemy tried to stop you. But God is with you. I pray you receive the wisdom and the clarity.
And the keys of insight for you and others, in Jesus’ Name

Release Regret and Embrace Your New Season
So appreciate this word, Helen. I like that it is a word in season for the Body, and realise not all words have that sense, but this is a warmly received.
I would identify myself moving between waiting and walking right now. It is a season of recalibration and fresh air to move into the next epoch.
Thank you so much for sharing this. Really appreciate you guys and what you encouraged us all with…
Just to share, at the end of August I received some prayer in a healing room and the fatigue I had following my cardiac arrest (which is very normal) dropped off! It is a game changer, thanks to Jesus!
Sashi, I’m so glad to hear that! May the Lord richly bless and enable you in your season of recalibration. May you be refreshed just as you are refreshing others.
And may you move forward carrying His fresh supplies.
I sense the healing that you’ve experienced is not only personal, but also a sign, and speaks of a gift, to heal and activate the church body.
I receive that as encouragement! Thank you Helen.
Thank you for this timely word on “Divine Acceleration” and it’s a confirmation for the dreams I had recently.
The Lord showed me that He is accelerating things on earth for time is running out. In the dream, I got into my car and before I could buckle up or ready, it sped off in great speed and urgency to a place to show me things in the spiritual realm. I saw the desperation of people, in a flooding city chasing down a freezer bus asking for help. And I was carrying a bag of breads and cakes for distribution earlier on. After this, I crossed the road and the scene changed into winter season and I couldn’t understand why so suddenly and quick. I asked God to empower my legs to run ( fly) with Him to finish the work He has tasked me bringing spiritual provision to people in dire need and many would be awaken to respond to His call to do His work on earth.
Thank you for the encouragement.
Hi Evelyn, wow, the dreaming is very significant! I say amen to that, I pray you catch greater revelation concerning the “bread and cakes” that you carry. God‘s grace, His food, messages, and heart
Thank you so much Helen, this message lighten me, my life was not making sense. I absorbed other people’s energy and carry their burdens for years I tried to find myself but I couldn’t only now I chose to distance myself from people, family. I feel this is my season to be myself and focus on my life
Hello Sekai,
I pray in your season of discovery, for blessing and empowerment. May you discover the richness of who you are, your identity, and the unique gifts you carry.
