As this new year unfolds, I believe God is ministering these words over us:
“My grace will make a way.”
It’s a simple yet powerful reminder.
And it’s especially relevant for the season we’re stepping into.
God promises:
“When you can’t see, I will lead you by a way you do not know,
And in paths you have not known.
I will make darkness light before you,
And crooked places straight.
These things I will do for you,
And not forsake you.”
(Based on Isaiah 42:16, NKJV)
So, even if the way is not clear right now, you can be assured of this:
Your Father is faithful.
And He is moving ahead of you.
A Vision of a Train Track
In early December, I had a vision of train tracks.
These were a blend of old wood and metal.
And appeared to be from an old, disused railway.
But as I looked, I realized they were in a state of transformation.
New metal was emerging, and it was pure, shining silver!
A metamorphosis was taking place.
And I knew in that moment:
- The silver represented grace and redemption.
That’s when the Holy Spirit brought this phrase to mind:
“Grace will make a way.”
What began as a spontaneous vision in December became a message that God continued to highlight for the year ahead.
A Way in the Wilderness
It reminded me of Isaiah’s words:
“Listen! It’s the voice of someone shouting,
‘Clear the way through the wilderness for the Lord!
Make a straight highway through the wasteland for our God!
Fill in the valleys, and level the mountains and hills.
Straighten the curves, and smooth out the rough places.
Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed,
and all people will see it together.
The Lord has spoken!’”
(Isaiah 40:3–5, NLT)
Sometimes, grace looks like disruption.
The ground is being carved up, and we don’t understand why.
We may see only rubble:
- Remnants of what once was, or something we valued
- Sign of the enemy’s work
The track may even appear blocked.
Still, God’s Word gives us hope.
He can reshape the terrain!
And as you turn it over to Him and say, “Yes”:
God is making a way, this year and beyond.
God’s Grace Covers the Past
Sometimes, as we begin to move forward, we are tempted to look back.
To mourn what could have been, or what we wish we’d done differently.
Yet as we contemplate this prophetic picture of the tracks, something unexpected happens:
We look behind us, and instead of scars and wreckage, we see grace.
The whole landscape is covered in silver.
Redeemed.
“For his unfailing love toward those who fear him
is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.
He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.”
Psalm 103:11–12 (NLT)
Grace Empowers the Leader
A train speaks of motion, direction, and power.
It also speaks of leadership and carrying others forward in a vision.
Perhaps you’ve carried prophetic dreams, but wonder, “Do I still have what it takes?”
Hear the Apostle Paul’s words:
“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain…
I labored…Yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
(1 Corinthians 15:10, NKJV)
God’s grace is His unmerited favor toward you.
It’s His action on your behalf.
And His power at work within you.
So, receive a fresh revelation of God’s grace.
He hasn’t forgotten the vision He gave you.
Some need to know:
- God is recommissioning you
- Grace is reawakening your momentum
Grace in the Midst of Weakness
Paul knew what it was to feel weak and still move forward by grace.
God said to him:
“My grace is sufficient for you,
for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
(2 Corinthians 12:9a, NKJV)
And Paul reflected:
“Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
(2 Corinthians 12:9b, NKJV)
This is the mystery of grace:
In the very place you feel unqualified, God’s power rests.
You may feel ordinary, but grace empowers you.
The Holy Spirit is preparing you to rise.
Even now, God is moving.
And He is about to do something unexpected.
A Word for Churches: The Train Station Vision
Then suddenly, the vision changed.
I found myself standing at the site of a historic train station.
It was a real place I’ve visited before.
But I knew immediately this wasn’t about the location.
It was symbolic.
The station had long been shut down.
All that remained were relics, a memorial, and a mound of dirt.
Yet in that moment, I sensed the Lord’s desire rising within me.
A fervent call to intercede.
For churches and communities.
Regions and high places of influence, where God once moved in power.
Places where there was once a station:
A gathering point, a move of God, a visible outworking of grace.
It’s recorded in the history books.
But the chapter feels closed.
Then I heard the Lord say:
“Make way.”
Because both are happening at once!
- Pioneering the new and restoring the old
- New blueprints and ancient foundations
“Those from among you
Shall build the old waste places;
You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,
The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.”
(Isaiah 58:12, NKJV)
Dancing Again
As I prayed, I realized:
God is not only revealing His plans, but He is also inviting us to stand with Him.
To pray, intercede, and declare.
Resurrection power is at work.
The life of the Spirit is flowing.
And many didn’t see Him coming!
Some who once danced on what they thought was the church’s grave
will dance again in the house of the Lord, giving praise to our God.
So we say:
“Come, Lord Jesus.”
A Fresh Beginning
Today marks a fresh start.
And it’s not because of anything you’ve done, or failed to do.
But all because of Jesus.
The key is in our surrender.
Because right here, in the face of impossibility, is a grace encounter.
This is the very place where God takes over.

This message was a confirmation of a dream I recently had. I am without an income ( a job) now for more than 2 years. I believe that soon very soon God will open the door to the way He made for me. Hallelujah! Please keep me in your prayers

I’m praying you will see the provision,
It’s amazing that Hagar encountered God and her eyes were opened to see the well in the wilderness (Genesis 21:19). I pray this will be an inspiration to you also
The idea of a fresh start is very compelling. I have long wondered how God was going to give me a new beginning. I can see it a little clearer now . I am hoping God could use me in some small way to serve him and honor his beautiful name.

Happy New Year, Helen and Malcolm!
More so, may the heartbeat of Father, Son and Holy Spirit be felt throughout the months which follow.
Thank you Helen for this word. Once again, I find myself tracking this material. It is so helpful to read about and see that what God is doing here in me is part of His overall plan for His Bride.
I have found myself drawn to Him, with a real sense of words and prophetic material being lessened, but a focus on Him being increased. The story of the train tracks is very much the orientation.
Thank you so much for this.
Much blessing and love to you guys

The thought about grace that spoke to me most is “grace in the midst of weakness.” God is requiring me to keep moving forward, and not become complacent and passive, to move on in the strength He provides.
Hi Karen, praying for peace in His perfect strength for you, to rise into all God has for you in 2026.
May God’s goodness in your life be a powerful testimony, and His peace overflow on all around you, in Jesus’ Name
What a timely word for this new season! Thank you.
Indeed Grace does make a way possible where there seemingly is no way forward in the natural.
amen to that Wayne
