If you can relate to being at a low point right now, be encouraged by this prophetic word from the heart of the Father.

“This low place doesn’t disqualify you; it prepares you.
It positions you.”

And your lowest point will become your launching pad.

“This is Where I Birth My Champions!”

Your low point is about to become your launching pad, Eagle flyingElijah had a low point when he was on the run from Jezebel’s threats. (1 Kings 19)
For a short time, the prophet was driven by fear.

And Elijah became so low in spirits, he despaired of his life.

But his lowest point was about to become a launching pad.
After encountering God, Elijah went on to anoint Elisha, his successor, and Jehu—the very one who would take down Jezebel!

  • So, if it seems as though the enemy has been chasing you, and for a time, you’ve failed to hold your ground
  • If circumstances have caused you to become disheartened, or you have been pressed on every side

You may feel as though you are in your lowest place. But right here, the God of grace is waiting for you!
Hear Him say, “This is where I birth My champions!”

Launching Pad: 4 Ways God is Turning Your Situation Around

1. God is Sending Angels to Help You

Exhausted, Elijah slept, but an angel interrupted his uneasy rest.
That angel gave him supernatural food and drink.

No matter what is happening right now, there are angels around you.

Even in the times of your greatest need and weakness, they are present.

We see this in Jesus’ life. After the temptation, angels came and ministered to Him (Matt 4:11).
And later, as He wrestled in great agony over the upcoming crucifixion, “…an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him.” (Luke 22: 43)

Angels ministered to Jesus, and to Elijah.
They provided replenishment for the soul and body, in moments of pain and stress.

This tells us that one of their roles is to strengthen God’s people in times of trial.

Be assured that not only is God present with you, but He has also sent His ministering angels to impart to you what you need.

Today, hear your Father say,
“Receive my strength and comfort in the middle of the trial. For you are moving from here with flying colors.”

2. You will Personally Experience Revival

At his lowest point, Elijah was so depressed that he wished to end his life.
But it was right there, he met the God of resurrection.
Buoyed by that angelic encounter—and the refreshment supplied—he began his journey again.

  • A low place can be like a drop in a road. When there is a dip in the terrain, the way ahead is obscured
  • At such times, it is difficult to make progress. Perhaps, “hope deferred” has made you heart-sick (Prov 13:12)

The way out of a valley requires a climb—and when you lack energy, it’s much easier to stay in a slump, than to move forward.

Yet, this is a Biblical principle we see over and over again:

  • Our God is a God of revival
  • He is the Reviver

So, if you can identify with being at a low point today—even if you feel you’re at your lowest!
Receive new life, the breath of God today.

3. You Will See Divine Acceleration

Renewed in strength, Elijah traveled 40 days and nights, until he arrived at Mount Horeb.

There, he had a significant encounter with God—experiencing His manifest Presence and hearing His audible voice.

And so it is, that a destiny doorway often stands at a low place.

You may have been stopped for a moment, but as Elijah did, you will experience Divine acceleration!

A low place may be characterized by depletion, or beset by uncertainty.
There, stripped of your usual capacity, you realize that you cannot fulfill God’s call in your own strength.

Emerging, freshly reliant upon the Spirit of God, you are empowered for your new season.

4. God is Giving You a New Song

For a time, Elijah forgot his message.
He lost his voice.
He was in a pit of despair.

David writes of being rescued by God at such a low point:
“He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.”
(Psalm 40:2, NKJV)

Miry clay speaks of being a stuck place, and the pit is a symbol of helplessness.
It is the ultimate low point.

The word translated “horrible” means an uproar; a rushing noise!
It so well defines our day, when clamor surrounds us.

David spoke of the low place becoming a birthing place, where a new song would emerge, given by God!

And with it, a ministry to many (Psalm 40:3, NKJV).

So, if trials have weighed you down; or uncertainty has rocked your world.

If you have reached a low point, or even your lowest.
Or, you have felt weak or stuck.

God has not left you.
He is here to rescue you.

Look up and see the hand of Jesus reaching down to you.
Hear Him say, “Let me lift you up, beloved, for I want you to be with Me.
I have a secure place for you to stand. Walk with Me.”

Your low place is about to become a miracle zone.

  1. Hi Helen,

Thank you for your emails. Honestly, your prophetic words have a consistent reputation of coming at the nick of time, and this one is no exception. You are truly walking with The Lord.

I have been battling spiritual exhaustion off and on, for some time now, but lately, it’s like I want to pray fervently long hours of prayer or fast but I can’t. I just find myself talking and crying to God to help me. I used to pray and fast not so easily, but at least I didn’t struggle much. But these days it’s like I feel so alone, an unsupported even by God. And I feel like I’m letting Him down because He has given me dreams upon dreams about taking me higher. I have been in a brokenness season for two years now. Left my country to a new land and it’s like with noone knowing me here, I am starting ministry from scratch. He has asked me to bury my seed, and I struggled but now I have done so. He has then recently told me He wants to teach me the foundations of The Word all over again. So I’m thinking this is a good time for a fervent season of fasting and prayer but I just feel so week, and so discouraged all around me and within me.

Thank you for this Word, cos it brings me hope. Somehow I know GOD is with me, cos He tells me this a lot, but personally, I am tired of staying in the same spiritual activity level. I find I have tons of prophetic words through revelation from The WORS, especially in this season, but I thought people got to this level of ministry through fasting and prayers.

Generally, i love food, I’m just scared that maybe it’s a deceptive excuse to keep me from breaking my love for food.

Just to say thank you again.

I am holding a webinar on prophetic worship for worship leaders, in a few days, and I feel so discouraged to think that right now as I’m on a skip-one-meal-a-day fast starting today, this is all I can do to prepare for it. I do still wake up in the morning and just TALK to God A LOT, but I’m always apologizing…I feel like He says He loves me, but maybe He’s not telling me that He may be slightly disappointed in me for not practising more spiritual disciplines for longer.

    Thank you Helen.

    God bless you.

    1. Hi Ijay – I can relate to having had periods of time just like that – this is a quote from my eBook, “Deeper, 6 Steps to Greater Intimacy with God and His Word” from my own experience:
“I didn’t know that the times of desperate, raw honest crying out to God (that I was actually doing) were more meaningful to my Father than trying to perform a devotional duty out of a place of exhaustion.
And I didn’t know that He was about to answer those desperate prayers through taking me on an extraordinary, life-changing journey with Him.”
This is what I believe for you too. May the low point become the launching pad, in Jesus’ Name.

  3. Dr Belinda Campbell

    Hi Helen:

Thank God for this on time word and your obedience to release it. I can identify with and receive eachbof the four ways God is turning my situation around.

This valley of Achor shall be turned to a door of hope, and we enter in to possess our destiny, our hope is Christ who is champion and finisher.

I believe today I am strengthened and encouraged to finish strong with joy!

I definitely want to enroll in class for Watchmen Intercessor– thats me!

    Dr Belinda

    1. Hi Dr Belinda,
How I love that scripture passage about the Valley of Achor becoming the door of hope. “There she shall sing”. I pray you discern a new song rising, that the Spirit gives you the ears to hear the new sound of Heaven, and the song the Father is singing over your life.
That song has creative power to not only recharge you, and supercharge you, but also lift you into the new places He has for you.

“The Lord your God in your midst,
      The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zeph 3:17)

  4. Hi Helen thank you for the words of encouragement coming from the Lord. I must say I have been discouraged lately about the passing on my eight year old daughter in August but I can feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit. I thank God for his Grace and allowing to connect with you stay blessed.

    1. Oh Zandile, my heart goes out to you at the loss of your precious daughter. May His comfort rise and overflow.
Father I pray for a mighty move of Your Holy Spirit, that You fill Zandile with Your Presence, grace and purpose, that Zandile will rise with a powerful testimony to Your goodness, in the midst of pain may there be joy that comes from His Presence. Open every needed door, Lord, in Jesus’ Name

  5. Apostle Emmanuel Nkhoma

Amen, that”s my season word for the year 2020 ending.
Am positioned to rise up through the power of Holy Spirit in Jesus in Jesus name.

    1. Yes amen, Father thank you that Apostle Emmanuel is rising up, You’re doing it in His spirit first, Lord, He is catching Divine acceleration in his heart because He’s getting a revelation of You.
Thank You for all You are doing in and through him, in Jesus’ Name
